Product Tax Sr Cnslt

Product Tax Senior Consultant, Vice President, in a tax advisory group at the world's largest service provider to institutional investors.

The candidate will advise business units on a broad range of US tax withholding and reporting matters, including US nonresident alien tax matters and US tax treaty issues. The candidate also will support non-US tax treaty and non-US domestic tax law matters in some cases, and will serve as liaison with tax authorities regarding issues and any proposed penalties.

The candidate will interact with clients and their advisors on product tax issues. The candidate will assist with the development of internal training materials and training sessions for business units.

The candidate will monitor and advise on tax rule changes in the US, and may provide comments and other input as part of the rule change process.


Requirements

? JD degree, or CPA plus Masters in Taxation, or equivalent
? 5 plus years of tax experience, including experience in cross-border tax issues, tax withholding and reporting issues and/or financial products
? In-depth knowledge of US tax laws, regulations, rulings and tax treaty interpretation
? Very strong analytical, research, writing and organizational skills
? Very strong relationship management, influencing and communication skills.
