Job Description: This position is primarily responsible for administration of State Street's internal IT time tracking system. All IT employees use the system to track their hours worked on IT projects, and the cost is billed back to business areas. Daily responsibilities include working with IT and business areas to create new projects; managing the process to add and update project data; answering questions about use of the system (including informal and occasional formal group training); and researching and responding to questions about the data using queries in MS Access, as well as generating monthly and ad-hoc reports for users. Continually verifying and ensuring the quality of data in the system is crucial. Other ongoing tasks include working with IT managers and staff to set up new departments, and then working to maintain and streamline existing departments and their projects by working with managers and Atrack sub-administrators worldwide. A key part of the role is resolving any issues that arise to the satisfaction of users, while also following departmental processes and standards.
The position also requires coordinating the monthly opening and closing of the budget forecasting process using Oracle Financial Analyzer and working closely with the IT controllers in determining proper allocation rules for projects, and assisting the Technology Planning & Management group with ad-hoc projects or other applications as needed. In addition, the role will require working closely with the development team to design and coordinate upgrades and enhancements to the time tracking system.

Requirements:
The incumbent must possess a Bachelors degree, with major in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and about three years business or database administration experience preferred. The incumbent must be able to communicate effectively and professionally via phone, e-mail and in person. Very strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task are essential. Must be able to manage personal workload under deadlines, and also be willing to assist the team as workload permits. Proficiency with MS Access strongly desired, as well as knowledge of Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
