Project Manager – POS Retail Operations and Support

Pay By Touch is leading the introduction of payment systems using fingerprint biometrics in retails stores. Today, over 1,500 grocery stores, convenience stores, liquor stores and banks are using Pay By Touch services.

 

We have an immediate need for a Project Manager with retail and financial services experience,

to manage projects related to the delivery of support, operations systems and services to consumers,

merchants and partners. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Gather requirements, work with product on Product Requirements Documents, vendor selection,

implementation coordination and measurement of success criteria related to operations/support

systems and procedures. 

 

Act as point of contact and representative for implementation/service delivery meetings with new

merchants or partners as well as with internal resources during support process definition and

implementation phases.

 

Work with cross-functional teams to document support requirements, processes, FAQ?s and

troubleshooting procedures.

 

Work with internal support team members to map out documentation and workflow gaps.

 

Assist with requirements gathering for, and implementation of new systems and processes

that support the Level 2 Help Desk, Level 1 Call Centers or Back Office support staff.

 

Review, evaluate, recommend and implement support process improvement efforts.

 

 

AVAILABLE as needed for senior level escalations for 24X7 support to aid with urgent

escalations.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

 

5+ years experience in a technical support center or technical support role preferably

in a financial services company and ideally 1 or more years in a supervisory/management capacity.

 

At least 2 years experience with point-of-sale equipment.

 

Solid background in documentation or technical writing, developing comprehensive requirements

documentation, and creating process flows and resource documentation

 

Advanced experience with a trouble ticket system such as Track It or Remedy

 

Intermediate experience with knowledge base management tools such as Vignette and with

MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Word

 

Experience training small and large groups and evaluating training retention/effectiveness

 

Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills

 

Detail oriented, highly organized, self motivated, with the ability to work independently and to establish and manage competing priorities

 

Demonstrated professional conduct on calls or in meetings with prospective merchants, prospective

partners and/or senior level management team members.
