Project Manager: Accounting/Financial Projects

CITY: NORWALK STATE: Connecticut COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
*Lay out accounting requirements: new loan products.
*Lay out accounting requirements: new/existing financial systems.
*Help design accounting approach: conversion/upgrade of financial systems.
*Review accounting results: testing of financial systems.
*Review accounting reconciliations.
*Work closely with controller dept, technical accounting group, general ledger dept, IT, operations.
*Work with other GE businesses.
*Work with external consultants.

Qualifications/Requirements:
*Solid audit and or controllership background.
*Strong, hands-on accounting skills.
*CPA or equivalent - minimum 6 years.
*Preferred: public accounting and or banking.
*Good with MS Excel.
*Desirable: Oracle Financial.
*Helpful: MS Access, ACBS.
*Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
*Must be willing to work in an office in XXX, YY.
*Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, drug testing, reference verification and background check.
