Project Manager Insurance Industry

Our client is a highly successful and innovative financial services firm with regional headquarters in SW Portland Oregon.  They are currently accepting resumes for an experienced corporate project manager.  This highly visible position is responsible for general business program management as well as interfacing with IT in areas of general design and process analyses. 

 

The types of projects managed will vary, but most will interface with insurance underwriting groups in the areas of corporate marketing and communcations.  This manager will also work extensively in the areas of research and implementation of best practices.  The position does not have formal supervisory responsibilities, however will function as a Lead to more junior team members.

 

This position is vital to continuos improvements in both overall processes, as well as communications and negotiations with external team members.  Heavy interfaces are involved with sales support, business operations and product management teams.

 

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree.

Professional experience in a related field (banking, financial services, insurance) is required of at least 4 years.

Professional experience as a project manager of at least 2 years.

A strong background in business process analysis and design.
