QA Environments Engineer

TD Ameritrade is currently seeking a QA Environments Engineer to be part of a high-performing team essential to the timely delivery of our products.  This individual?s primary focus will be to assist in managing multiple complex testing environments utilized for functional, integration and load/stress testing. The successful candidate will possess strong technical and communication skills and experience with enhanced troubleshooting methodologies.

 

 

 

Key responsibilities include;Configure various components of integrated environments (multi-tiered architecture) to meet constantly changing demands from testing groups.Monitor CPU performance, resource utilization, batch execution and overall system status for changes in status, defects, abnormalities, etc.Install both internally developed and third party software as part Coordinate and conduct all on-line, batch and data verification testing necessary for front-end, back-end and middleware systems.Analyze, interpret, and approve requirements, and design specifications for changes and/or upgrades to each environmentReport and status changes and take direction from Senior/Project Leader of Testing Environments on a daily basis.

Job QualificationsBachelor's in Computer Science or other related technical fieldWorking knowledge of Windows NT, 2000, XP, IE and Netscape, Telnet, FTP, directory navigation, script execution.Experience with SQL (Oracle); Java; JBOSS; query and update database tables; O/S configuration; UNIX commands a plus.Excellent communication and organizational skills, team player
