As a REO Closer, you will be responsible for the following:

Under minimum supervision:

Manages an assigned portfolio of under contract REO properties
Develops working relationships with marketing vendors, closing attorneys / agents, real estate brokers, title / settlement / escrow companies
Reviews purchase Contracts, Deeds and Settlement Statements to ensure compliance with internal/investor guidelines
Monitors closings to ensure all necessary documents are provided and executed properly
Resolves complex escrow issues with attorneys and vendors
Obtain Deeds, Closing Statement / HUD-1's and necessary closing documents to meet closing timeframes
Coordinates servicing release transactions, including obtaining deeds to transfer title
Closely monitor reports to meet strict closing timeframes
Ensure closings are being serviced within Internal and Investor requirements
Performs other related duties as assigned


Minimum 1 year asset recovery experience or 3 years loan service experience in default processing (Loss Mitigation or Foreclosures)
Minimum 1 year real estate marketing, or 1 year title / escrow processing experience
General knowledge of multi-state real estate requirements
Must be detail oriented, flexible, dependable and organized
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Computer skills, including Windows, Word, and Excel
