Real Estate Owned Billing Specialist - REO

Primary Characteristics:

Pursue outstanding funds on liquidated assets in the Conventional portfolio. Provide Management status reports on the recoverability of outstanding funds due. Work with investors regarding disputes of pending monthly billings. Job duties also include the completion of acquisition bill backs, investor billings and special projects as assigned by management.


Essential Functions:

?Initiate and follow up on recovery of funds due from disposition of real estate owned properties
?Reconcile Fidelity system balances and general ledger accounts
?Bill prior Service?s for covered loses on acquired real estate owned properties
?Track status of receipt of funds and perform time sensitive follow up
?Bill Vendors for losses incurred due to error
?Monitor New Invoice for real estate owned exception invoicing
?Work Special projects as directed by Management
?Provide Management with status on recoverability of funds


Minimum Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

?Ability to work with little or no supervision
?Must be able to resolve conflicts in a professional and courteous manner
?Must feel at ease working with Sr. Management
?Must work well under stressful situations
?Analytical Skills
?Ability to handle multiple tasks
?Accounting background preferred
?Strong Organizational Skills
?Accounts Receivable/Collection knowledge preferred
?Ability to work with little or no supervision

Training and Experience:

?4-year degree or equivalent mortgage banking experience
?Accounting experience
?Knowledge of Fidelity?s MSP system
?Knowledge of Excel a must
?Knowledge of Passport
