Responsibilities/Position Summary:  Regional Sales Specialist (VP)

Merrill Lynch is a pioneer in Structured Investments designed to meet investor client demand in a changing market environment.  Working with Market Investments & Origination, the Structured & Market Investments Sales Group is responsible for marketing Equity-, Debt-, Currency-, Commodity- and Alternative Investment-linked products through Merrill Lynch's Global Private Client Group.

 

Regional Sales Specialist candidates should have proficiency in educational sales with an emphasis on how structured products offer efficiency, risk reduction and diversification to client portfolios.  Specialists will be responsible for traveling through the regions, developing relationships and marketing a wide range of different offerings.  Specialists are the key elements of sales and marketing strategy implementation as well as after market sales support and the development of long term relationships with the Division?s financial advisors and their clients.  Candidates should have experience with financial instruments as well as a strong interest in sales, structured products and the financial markets.

 

Salespeople will participate in the development of products as a critical source of client intelligence and FA feedback and work with the Market Investments & Origination as well as the Global Markets and Investment Banking teams to deliver product to the market.  In addition, salespeople are the key elements of sales and marketing strategy implementation as well as responsibility for after market sales support and the development of long term relationships with the Division?s financial advisors and their clients.

 

The position currently available is in San Francisco.  Sales Specialist report to the National Sales Manager for the business who is based in New York.Qualifications:
