Research Analyst - Financial Services

Independent Fiduciary Services, Inc., a major institutional investment consulting firm, conducts comprehensive operational reviews of investment funds and operations for public retirement systems and other entities, and strategic investment advice and oversight to employee benefit plans. Our continued growth has led to an opening for a skilled analyst and in our operational review area. Research skills should include data collection and analysis; synthesizing, evaluating and translating research results, preparation of charts, graphs and written reports summarizing research, and tracking new research trends and developments in the area of public pension fund governance and investment portfolio management. The successful candidate will have experience in tracking and monitoring projects. Candidate must understand qualitative and quantitative research and analytical methodologies and be able to conduct and perform cost/benefit analysis and develop and conduct written and oral surveys and questionnaires relating to research projects.
Requirements: Requirements include an undergraduate degree and at least 2-5 years of consulting, pension fund, or similar or financial services experience. Candidate must possess excellent writing and oral presentation skills, be team-oriented, and able to work independently. Successful candidates must have the ability to manage tight, multiple deadlines, be well organized, and have superior time management skills.
