Today, the firm's services include industry-wide syndicated studies; proprietary (commissioned) tracking studies; media studies; forecasting; and training services, as well as business operations analyses, and consultancies on customer satisfaction trends.

 

We are currently seeking a Research Associate, Finance Research, in Troy, MI.

 

Key Goals of this Position:Simultaneously coordinate several time-sensitive tasks with Research Services (R2), other internal support departments, and external suppliers.Incorporate research data and industry information into comprehensive assessments/reports.Follow quality control procedures, especially ISO (upholds quality standards).Use research principals and methodologies (sampling, questionnaire design, tabulation planning, and analysis) to conduct proprietary and syndicated research studies.Quantitative analysis.Apply basic statistics applications (SAS, SPSS, other programs).



Education/Experience Required: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.Six or more months of solid business experience or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).  Demonstrated experience using Excel (macros preferred), PowerPoint (data graph creation), and Word (or similar software applications)Solid mathematical (statistical), analytical and writing skills required.  Insurance or financial services background a plus.Must be dedicated to Quality (zero tolerance for errors), have Passion (strong work ethic, take ownership), and have Vision (seek to change J.D.
