Residential RE Specialist

Essential job functions -

- Responsible for ensuring assigned districts achieve mortgage goals. 

- Champions and promotes residential mortgage initiatives within assigned districts. 

- Conducts and assists in delivering mortgage sales and product training.  This support can be provided in a larger meeting environment or individualized in a branch. All support is coordinated with the assigned district or area sales leaders.
- With coordination of district sales leadership, conducts onsite KeyCenter visits to provide residential mortgage support which includes, but is not limited to, product knowledge training or sales training.
- Assists and/or trains retail bank Sales Professionals on identifying residential  mortgage opportunities to meet client needs.
- Assumes the mortgage subject matter expert role where needed.
- Assists districts with introduction and implementation of new mortgage secured products and programs.
- Sources non-traditional residential real estate opportunities as appropriate.
- Actively participates in district sales meetings (TASM?s, LCA?s, etc).
- Monitors competitor programs and trends and provides information to Sales Professionals in assigned districts and suggestions on how they can compete against competitor programs.
- Recommends program and product enhancements based on feedback received from the field.
- Assists in tracking and communicating residential mortgage initiative results to ASL?s and DRL?s within assigned area.dividualized in a branch.  All support is coordinated with the assigned district or area sales leaders. 

 

Required skills -

- Minimum five years experience selling residential mortgage loans
- Working knowledge of residential home equity and mortgage underwriting, processing, and closing
- Must be willing to travel as needed
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to motivate individuals to try new sales techniques, tools, or tips. Able to facilitate meetings involving up to 25 attendees.
- Above average analytical skills and problem solving skills are required.
