About the Opportunity The Credit Analyst approves credit and recommends for credit approval financial transactions as submitted. The individual insures compliance with company credit policies and procedures. Grow retail acquisitions with minimal risk of loss and maximizing profit.



Responsibilities include:

 Verifying, analyzing and processing retail credit applications in a timely manner and in accordance with credit policies and procedures.

 Making an informed approval/reject decision communicating such in a time manner.

 Promoting credit products and services to dealer personnel and customers.

 Insuring proper credit approval criteria, by periodic review of acquisition data and performance, to minimize company exposure to loss.

 Reviewing and deciding on credit transactions based on authority level or submitting for recommendation to a higher approval authorization.

 Assisting in the development and implementation of a training program.

 Preparing and presenting formal written loan proposals, as required



Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree required, accounting/finance or business preferred; and/or equivalent work experience.

-Minimum 2-5+ years commercial underwriting experience.

-Demonstrated solid financial analysis skills.

-Demonstrated solid PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent software.

-Experience with financial analyst software.

-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

-Experience in credit/banking.
-Experience in the equipment financial industry a plus.
