Retirement Plan Consultant

Great-West is currently looking for an organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who works well in a team environment to fill a Retirement Plan Consultant II position. This person will be part of a team that services three different existing blocks of business (Educator$Money, Orphaned Accounts, and the Great-West IRAs). As well as taking inbound and making outbound calls in a sales role to obtain enrollments, retain existing assets, and encourage rollovers into Great-West from both new and existing customers. Individual must be flexible with work schedule.

General Responsibilities include:

- Inbound service calls from participants and plan administrators including account information, plan provisions, requests for distributions, loans, and other account related services.
- Research and problem resolution.
- Answer questions regarding portfolio objectives, asset composition, and past historical information.
- Determine suitability of investments without giving advice.
- Inbound and outbound sales calls to obtain enrollments and retain rollover money from individuals.
- Compose correspondence (emails & letters) in response to participants' requests for additional information.
- Projects as assigned by management.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
- One to two years experience with retirement plans including 457, 403(b), 401(k), Pension Plans, IRAs, Mutual Funds and Annuities.
- Excellent customer service experience.
- Series 6 & 63 and Colorado Life, Health, and Variable Insurance Licenses required. It is preferred that candidate hold at least 2 of the 4 licenses listed prior to being hired. If no licenses are held, individual with have up to 180 days from the date of hire to complete all licensing. (Details will be discussed during interview.)
- Microsoft windows skills required.
- ISIS (Great-West proprietary system) experience a plus.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
