Risk Management Cons

Job Description: Duties include: performing analysis to maximize profit and minimize credit and operating losses; provide analytical support for retail credit; monitor various credit and deposit product performance; make recommendations to management based on data trends; coordinate and produce performance monitoring reports and benchmarks regarding product growth, risk, delinquency, losses and profitability; review and analyze trends in current population distributions within our product portfolios; develop data-driven strategies that would help optimize product performance; create computer models that would enhance our collections efficiency; extract data and manipulate databases to help with model development and product analysis.

This position can be located either in Concord or San Francisco.


Minimum Qualifications: - Strong computer skills
- Strong SAS programming skills
- BA/BS degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer
Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related areas.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, highly complex
environment.


Preferred Skills: - Experience with Unix
- Work experience with a bank/credit/financial institution
- Advanced knowledge of SAS programming language
- Experience with databases
