Job Purpose
Manage a domestic portfolio of credit facilities consisting of commerical transportation vehicle leases, loans and related services programs. Lead a team of analysts in underwriting credit requests including deal negotiation, approval, documentation, and surveillance.

Essential Functions

Lead and manage a team of analysts in the underwriting and approval of new credit requests, credit line renewals for existing customers, and ongoing surveillence of the current portfolio

Proactively work with sales team and other cross-functional groups to identify financing solutions for customers

Perform rigorous analysis of transactions including customer, industry and collateral related risks

Negotiate terms and conditions for transactions, working with legal team to ensure appropriate documentation is put in place

Manage routine surveillence of existing accounts; including updating renewing credit lines per prevailing credit policy

Identify and resolve problem accounts in partnership with the Collections team and Workout Specialists. Manage the watchlist process.

Support the Business Development team in performing risk due diligence for portfolio/company acquisitions

Lead or participate as a team member in special projects aimed at improving business processes and analytic tools

Provide input into GE Fleet's policy 5.0 and 6.0, the underlying GE Fleet credit policies governing the portfolio


Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, economics, accounting or finance

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial lending or investment banking

Experience in Commercial financial statement analysis

Understanding of lease and loan transactions including documentation

Understanding of the capital markets

Working knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
