SAP Business Analyst - Finance and Controlling (FICO)

Job Description:


PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB:  Work with SAP team to ensure that the global SAP system is implemented effectively and meets the business needs and requirements of the company. 

 

MAJOR JOB REPSONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

 Assist with configuration of SAP software.Prepare communications and provide updates to various levels of management throughout the organization - i.e. reports, oral presentations, etc.Review business processes and recommend solutions for complex business activities.Monitor progress of SAP projects and take corrective action as required to ensure deadlines and business needs are met.Identify system problems and determine necessary resolution.Work with SAP team to write business and technical specifications.Execute quality assurance from test definition through assessment sign off.Analyze suggested system configuration changes and customizations to help SAP team understand the potential impact to the system, users and company ROI.Provide end user training and on-going user support during implementation and after go live date.Poses no direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself, of others, or to property. Defined as a significant risk of substantial harm that cannot be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level by reasonable accommodation.Requires regular attendance to perform essential elements as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Corporation and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.

 

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and 4-10 years of related work experience.Prior experience in system design and implementation.Must have good written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.Ability to read technical materials, comprehend and translate computer program languages.Strong written and analytical skills.Able to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of business issues; able to use reason.Ability to travel domestically as the need arises.
