SAS Programmer

B-Line, LLC a rapidly expanding finance organization located in downtown Seattle needs a highly motivated SAS Programmer.  We are looking for a self-starter that can bring strong analytical and planning experience and a can do attitude.  The successful candidate must be self-directed, motivated, detail-oriented, organized, a team player, and must be willing to go the extra mile.

 

Responsibilities for this position include the design, development, implementation, and enhancement of monthly reporting for a large portfolio.  The reporting system uses SAS to manage and disseminate information to executive management and their staff for decision support.

 

Qualifications

? 3+ years of SAS experience

? BS/BA in Business, Finance, or Computer Science

? Understanding data warehousing concepts and translating the data via business intelligence into the proper tool for reporting for the end user is a must.

? Must be able to utilize in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business systems to recommend innovations that enhance and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.

? Be able to provide feedback and technical guidance to project managers on issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives.

? Technical knowledge and capabilities to work both as a team member and as an individual contributor.

? Conduct research into data problems and work with users to understand and define their requirements.

? Strong quantitative and analytical skills

? Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities

? Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities

? Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

? Intermediate Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint experience is required;

? Banking experience is a plus

? SQL experience is a plus
