JOB RESPONSIBILITIES??

?????????? Responsible for all the processing, settlement & control of Foreign Exchange transactions within the relevant section.

?????????? Assist staff in confirming trade financials with various clients, brokers and counterparties, via phone, fax, email and various automated systems.

?????????? Escalate trade discrepancies and ensure timely resolution. Liaise with front office, middle office, margin department, treasury and external counterparts.

?????????? Ensure settlement instructions are maintained and updated in a timely manner.? These include domestic and international transactions.? Monitor settlements system to ensure all payments are made in a timely manner.

?????????? Review and analyze logged client queries and escalate where necessary.

?????????? Investigate and resolve any settlement discrepancy.? Ensure timeliness and escalation of aged items.

?????????? Monitor settlements system to ensure all payments are made in a timely manner.

?????????? Review and verify the work of other team members to ensure correct settlement is made.

?????????? Monitor workflow within unit to ensure trades are processed in an accurate and timely manner.

?????????? Implement quality initiatives designed to improve the process.

?????????? Determine source cause for errors and liaise with investigations unit to avoid repetitive errors.

?????????? Review operational write offs and errors with management.Review, complete and provide statistical and performance analysis to management



CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS (KEY COMPETENCIES, MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, MINIMUM PRIOR SPAN OF CONTROL, TECHNICAL SKILLS)

?????????? Knowledge and experience in International and Domestic Payment systems and formats is a definite plus.


?????????? Knowledge and experience in the Foreign Exchange business or other Financial Markets products is a definite plus.


?????????? Knowledge of SWIFT Payments/Receipts (eg. MT202, MT103, MT 300 MT199)
