Sales Assistant- New York, NY

In this exciting opportunity, your ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities will be vital as you provide administrative support to assigned traders, sales personnel and external clients. More specifically, you will:
*monitor P&L
*track trades and correct trade problems
*interact with customers
*perform extensive phone work
*prepare and distribute memos, reports and other correspondence
*make appointments and arrange meetings
*prepare expense reports and travel itineraries


To be a success here, you must have a Series 7 license and two to three years of administrative experience, preferably within the brokerage industry. You?ve enhanced this training and experience with:
* proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheet, database, electronic mail and calendar programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook
* a strong attention to detail
* exceptional math and spreadsheet skills
