About the Opportunity The Sales Support Specialist will provide sales support for the Sales Director ? Credit Card and Consumer Business, Business Development Managers, Relationship Managers, and the National Sales Manager ? Related Parties.

 

This position will also be the primary liaison between the Sales team, Product development, and Marketing in prioritizing initiatives for the Credit Card and Consumer businesses.

 

Responsibilities

? Capture sales feedback from dealers and customers to identify program enhancement opportunities.

? Provide tactical sales support such as creating customer presentations and actions plans to maximize sales of Credit Card and Consumer products.

? Assist sales management in designing effective program training materials such as computer-based training modules.

? Calculate, execute and communicate promotion subsidies to respective vendors.

? Coordinate effective product launch delivery process with the Product Development and Marketing teams.

 

Objectives:

? Develop a process to ensure efficient and effective communication of customer needs to sales management and Product, Process and Sales Delivery team.

? Contributor would increase the overall effectiveness of the sales team.

? Participate in sales growth initiative projects.

? Succession plan to include opportunities for Business Development Manager and Relationship Manager position.

 

Qualifications

? Bachelor?s degree in business, finance or related industry experience.

? 1 ? 3 years experience in the Financial Services industry preferred.  Individuals with Financial Services industry experience and a specialized focus related to financial products, services, operations will be considered.

? Aptitude in sales and marketing preferred.

? Commercial and/or Consumer Credit Card product familiarity preferred.

? Prior dealer/retailer interface experience preferred.

? Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.

? Demonstrated strong communication skills including both verbal and written.

? Full proficiency in all MS Office programs, including Power Point.

? Demonstrates behaviors consistent with a focus on customer results.

? Some travel required.  Approximately 10%.
