Senior Analyst, Equities Technology Controller

Brief Description:


Produce, evaluate, and present the financial results for Equity Technology Job Responsibilities:


Financial Reporting 

o Monthly Close Process - Develop and publish regularly scheduled and ad hoc financial analyses on technology P&L and project portfolio status, as well as sponsor view financials. Partner with technology management / financial controllers for forecasting, budgeting and reporting & analyses. 

?  P&L Variance Analysis

?  Project Portfolio Variance Analysis

?  Headcount Reporting

?  Balance Sheet Review

?  Variance to budget analysis

 

  Financial Analysis 

o Analyze trends and create normalized run rates to forecast financial results

o Contribute to GMI Technology's cost avoidance and efficiency process.

 

  Special Projects

o As needed, assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting requests

?  Business Case Reporting

?  Management Presentations

?  Financial support for acquisitions and new business creationQualifications:


?  3-5 years experience

?  Finance or Accounting degree required

?  Strong data management/PC skills required (Excel, Access)

?  Strong communication skills

?  Strong analytical skills

?  Ability to shift focus to match changing priorities.  

o Positive attitude with the ability to multi-task and adapt in a changing environment

o Proactive individual accustomed to taking initiative and performing well under pressure
