Senior Associate, Market Analyst

Support strategic decision making by grounding choices in market data. Research issues, collect, and analyze data and understand competitor and industry dynamics. Integrate perspectives from multiple sources to develop a recommendation for senior management.


-Create and maintain a solid base of market and competitor knowledge through primary and secondary quantitative and qualitative research.
-Identify business critical knowledge gaps and build/execute research projects to drive decisions.
-Create clear, concise, and compelling presentations to communicate analysis findings to all levels within the company.
-Build and maintain monitoring tools, and compile data sets to track and analyze real and potential competitive threats and market trends.
-Maintain regularly updated files on key competitors and the industry as a whole.
-Lead internal and vendor teams in executing large and small scale research and analytic projects
-Manage multiple in-process studies simultaneously.

-2 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in a corporate, consulting and/or research-oriented environment.
-Proven experience as self-starter with the communication skills necessary to present to senior management
-Exceptional quantitative skills

-Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and synthesis skills.
-Ability to structure and organize ambiguity.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively to small and large groups across the company.
-Obvious entrepreneurial drive and passion for achieving results
-Exceedingly proficient in the use of the MS Office suite of products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
-Committed to own professional development

-Bachelor's degree with preferred major in marketing, economics, statistics, business, computer science/engineering
-Advanced degree in business or related field a plus
