Senior Budget Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Vice President for Administration, the successful candidate will provide a wide variety of high-level financial and administrative support, with a particular focus on developing and coordinating an integrated departmental budget process with the accounting and payments system. Independently manages, oversees and coordinates operational and financial projects. Supports achievement of University and administrative departmental goals and objectives, and provides timely and effective communications on behalf of the Vice President. Serves as a liaison for the Vice President for internal and external constituencies.



Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in business administration, public administration, public policy or other related field. Five to seven years of administrative, management, or supervisory experience (including project management). The ability to perform advanced budgetary, cost benefit, and ROI analysis. A broad understanding of and experience with issues and policies in higher education required. Excellent interpersonal skills including, but not limited to persuasion, negotiation, and diplomacy. Computer literate in Microsoft Office environment, expert level with Excel. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
