Senior Business Systems Analyst, Financial Reporting Systems & Projects

Responsibilities: 1. Work with Financial System Users, IT Staff and Co-workers to analyze and resolve complex application and process issues.

2. Serve as project manager or team member on projects as assigned.

3. Coordinate and manage tasks required to deliver projects according to the established budget, schedule, quality and scope.

4. Act as Application Administrator for various Financial Reporting Systems maintaining user access, system controls, OLAP cubes, and hierarchies.

5. Analyze, understand and document business and technical requirements. Develop Functional Requirements, Business Cases, Technical Specifications and Test Plans.

6. Develop financial and sales solutions using Business Intelligence tools or applications of the Financial Reporting Systems group.

7. Work with users to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to automate processes.

8. Coordinates the execution of functional test plans/scripts.

9. Conduct financial systems analysis and design, data modeling, process flow modeling and process reengineering.

10. Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:

Bachelor?s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required. Alternative ? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field. 4-6 years directly related job experience required. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, management skills, strong work ethic, consensus gathering skills, organizational skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Lotus Notes. Must possess knowledge of computerized accounting systems, Windows 2000, Office XP including Access, Lotus Notes and Monarch (preferred). Must have knowledge of accounting principles and understand financial reports. Must possess a willingness and ability to cross-train.
