The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Financial Planning for the Facilities Engineering Department.

Duties:

?1 Responsible for tracking and controlling the operating budget expenditures, preparing month-end journal entries, billing reports and accrual and correction reports for the Facilities Department, which expends more than $20 million annually

?2 Oversees the tracking of expenses, accruals, corrections and billing for $25 million+ in annual expenditures for electricity, natural gas, oil and water

?3 Prepares routine reports for the Administrator and Sr. Director and will take the lead in investigation and analysis in the performance against budget

?4 Proactive in identifying and describing financial issues and recommending appropriate resolutions

?5 Maintains working relationship with the central Johns Hopkins Finance Department and prepare reports as requested

Requirements:

Requires Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance with one to three years relevant work experience. Must have strong analytical abilities and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong information systems skills with advanced Excel skills are required. SAP experience preferred. Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
