Senior Financial Analyst-Planning & Analysis

Job Description: Responsible for the analysis and forecasting of various aspects of the Consumer Lending Business Unit’s financial performance. The incumbent will take ownership of the existing analysis, forecasting and reporting responsibilities and proactively identify potential improvements and refinements to the process. The individual will also be called upon to analyze various questions, reports and issues on an ad-hoc basis as they arise. Excel modeling skills are essential, not only to maintain existing forecast processes but to develop new forecast models as information needs evolve.



Knowledge of accounting is important, but an analytical mind-set is essential. The focus is on identifying the key financial drivers in a given situation and then developing models to support business decision-making.

Job Experience:

Minimum of seven years proven and progressive financial and/or business analysis experience, or equivalent.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.

Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation and verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with personal computers and pertinent mainframe systems and software packages.
