Senior Financial Planning Analyst

We are seeking to fill the role of Financial Planning Analyst in our East Boston, MA office.?

Essential Functions:Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, and summarize financial information regarding financial plans, business planning, and modeling operating forecastsPrepares reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, cost systems, business forecasts, cash flow projections.Analyzes variances to standard costs Analyzes financial information to determine present and future financial performance Conducts special studies to analyze financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or actionCoordinates the development of the budget, planning, and other corporate and divisional financial requirements Prepares advanced PC models Assists the Divisional Controller ?in special accounting projects

Additional Requirements: Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles and systemsAbility to use SAP software packageGAAP financial reporting experienceSelf - motivated; proven ability to work as part of a team, with minimal oversight able to maintain strict confidentialityProficiency with Excel & AccessExcellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize several tasks at one time and meets tight deadlines
