Job Description:
Responsible for processing a large pipeline of first and second mortgage requests and achieving prescribed production and quality standards. Provide superior service to clients, card members and origination personnel through exceptional communication and the timely processing of loan files. Responsible for the complete and timely processing of loan files. Duties include gathering customer data, verifications, and vendor reports in order to provide complete and quality loan files to the loan files to the underwritting and closing departments. Ensure the data integrity of the loan origination system. Interface with applicants, origination personnel, underwriters, vendors, and closing staff to provide superior service and ensure the smooth and timely processing of client and card member requests. Demonstrate high levels of competency in the company?s policies, work-flow procedures, underwriting guidelines, and pipeline management requirements. Maintain frequent, clear, and concise communication with origination personnel regarding loan file status. Assist in the training and development of processing and origination personnel. Foster team work within the unit and with other origination departments. Operate in compliance with federal, state, and local law governing the company?s lending activities. Complete individual assignments, as directed by the manager. Analyze and recommend changes to improve work-flow. Position reports to a Supervisor or Manager. Works closely with customer and loan officers. Provides guidance to more junior level processors.



SKILLS
Required:
Knowledge and skills associated with a high school education. This is a senior level position requiring at least two years of processing experience, understanding of the loan computer system, and general office skills. Also requires working knowledge of underwriting criteria for major programs, enabling preliminary judgment of loan quality.
