We are curenntly adding a Senior Market Analyst - MBS to our team in New York, NY.

Thomson IFR / TradeWeb a provider of real time market commentary and analysis of fixed income, foreign exchange and related derivatives markets is looking for an experienced fixed income analyst with a strong background in Mortgage Backed Securities.

The prime responsibility of this position is to deliver compelling market commentary and analysis on a intra-day basis in a fast paced market environment. With this, strong writing skills are essential. The successful candidate should also have an established network of contacts within the institutional/ dealer marketplace.

Qualifications Candidates will need 3-7 years of related market experience either in sales, trading, brokerage, research or some related capacity typically at a commercial or investment bank, brokerage firm hedge fund or mutual fund. The candidate should have a broad market network of market contacts, excellent writing and oral communication skills, and should be prepared to make periodic client visits with sales staff.  The candidate should also be fully capable with Excel and have good bond math skills. Required Education: College degree is a must, while an MBA and/or CFA or FRM is a plus.
