Duties/Responsibilities:

? Develop strong working relationships with team members who support the retail division including product managers, retail administration and sales management. Provide information and contacts with internal communication groups to insure that retail marketing campaigns are effectively communicated to appropriate team members.

? Supervise, coach, mentor, grow and provide career development for Account Executive.

? Work with Sovereign?s internal marketing services group and external promotional and direct mail firms to provide input and creative briefings to insure that promotions are developed and messages are designed to meet business and communication goals. Partner with product and analysis groups to establish and monitor goals.

? Solicit and analyze client input to build creative briefs, produce action plans and develop campaigns.

? Manage and direct relationships with direct mail vendors and promotional firms. Oversee the tactical and day-to-day execution of all retail direct mail and promotions. Actively manage these programs for effectiveness and efficiency.

? Work with Legal and Compliance to insure that all marketing communications meet regulatory and legal requirements.

? Maintain an on-going schedule/calendar of retail marketing activities to allow for reporting, planning and timing of campaigns. Organize and coordinate activities among product groups, providing clear direction to Community Banking Offices.

? Travel to various Sovereign locations will be required.

Qualifications:

3-5 years experience within financial services; Experience managing advertising and direct mail campaigns; Excellent communication skills.
