Responsible for the maintenance and quality control of assigned relationships as well as for the oversight of relationships assigned to team members.

Is the primary contact for Advisory regarding client relationship management except in cases in which there may be an existing Trust Company relationship established through another Regional Trust Center.

Responsible for day to day management and supervision of a sub-regional trust administration team.

Management responsibility for a subordinate Trust Officer and/or Senior Trust Administrator that may be responsible for the administration and review of less complex accounts and new business submissions.

Minimum Requirements:

Significant experience with high and ultra-high net worth clients/accounts especially in regards to trust and tax planning.

Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage a small team

Ability to work well with others outside of the fiduciary account management discipline

Diplomatic and a consensus builder.

Understanding of trust operations and systems.

Ability to recognize alternative practical solutions and to be flexible

Demonstrated high quality written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to travel

 

The Senior Trust Officer (STO) is among the most experienced administration officers in the given geographical region.  The expectation is that this individual will manage the most complicated and/or sensitive accounts and interface with the most prominent high net worth Advisory teams to facilitate client relationship management.  In some cases, the STO may be working to support an existing Trust Company relationship with a Trust Officer based in another Regional Trust Center that is closer to the client and Financial Advisory.  In those instances, the STO will not be primarily responsible for the management of the Advisory and client relationship but will nevertheless be responsible for the administration of the Delaware based trust account portion of the relationship.  The STO will be a team leader and will guide administrative staff during the course of daily administration while also functioning as a mentor and role model to facilitate the professional growth of team members.  In addition, the STO will be responsible for the document review and acceptance function for all new business submissions that qualify for Delaware based trust administration.  The STO will provide technical fiduciary consultation to trust sales officers and Financial Advisors on developing new business matters that are to be administered in Delaware.  Qualifications:
College degree required, advanced degree and certification(s)
