Senior Web Administrator

Maajor Financial Services Firm located in Tampa, Fl. currently has a need for a Senior Web Administrator. The position includes 24/7 support of WebServer Technologies.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Senior Web Administrator, you will be responsible for day-to-day support issues and projects. You will be responsible for resolving problems and for the setup and configuration of new web based applications running in Iplanet and interfacing with JRUN and/or Weblogic. You will interface with Development groups and other Technology organizations on projects and support issues. You will be required to provide on-call support on a rotating basis with the other members of the team. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision but also function as a team player is essential. Good analytic troubleshooting skills are essential. This position plays a key role in the systems support, integration and delivery of WEB applications across the organization. Effective data management and technology delivery can contribute towards increasing the decision making process of both research analysts and line managers.


TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
? Experience supporting many Unix web-based (Solaris) & NT/Win2K applications.
? Experience with the following technologies: Netscape Enterprise Server, iPlanet/SunONE 6.x, LDAP, Microsoft IIS, MTS, Siteminder, Active Server Pages, HTML, XML, BigIP, JRUN, Websphere and WebLogic.
? Scripting skills.
? Familiarity with proxy servers, firewalls and web security is also essential.


NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
? Strong customer and quality-focus is a must.
? Sound problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills required.
? Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills
? Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
