Solutions Consultant (Pre-sales)- Compliance / AML

Job Title:

Solutions Consultant.  As a Solutions Consultant your primary responsibility is to assist the Financial sales team in winning and driving new business opportunities.

 

Job Function:

Reporting to the practice lead for Financial Services, the Solutions Consultant?s primary responsibility is building and demonstrating our Compliance Suite solutions and helping analyse customer requirements and designing solutions for to meet these in a pre-sales environment.  Further, Solutions Consultants will work closely with the entire Financial sales team to understand client needs, analyze those business needs and assist in mapping those requirements.

 

The position requires domestic travel and some international travel.  

 

Job Responsibilities/Principal Accountabilities:

 

You will be required to:Understand client compliance related requirements and assist the Financial Sales team in proposing solutions to answer those requirementsProvide pre-sales support to Financial Sales representatives, including system configurations, feasibility analysis, technical aspects of proposals, product presentations and demonstrations;With the account team, assist in defining specifications & requirements and building customized demonstrations and presentations (for both technical and management-level audiences) directly related to the proposal;Interact with R&D and Marketing groups to provide customer support and to ensure compatibility with all elements of the overall solution.Be well-versed in core functionality and related networking, database, and operating environment matters.Manage and build a demonstration version of our compliance suite that has been configured to demonstrate the product?s capabilities.Mange and complete RFP/RFI processes.

 

Qualifications:

 

? At least 5 years of experience demonstrating enterprise solutions to financial services sector; risk management, treasury, portfolio management. (Algorithmics, SunGard, Murex, Kamakura, Wall Street, Reuters, KMV, Bloomberg etc.)

? Knowledge of compliance and business process around one or more of the following: KYC, Transaction Monitoring, Conflicts of Interest, Compliance Advisory, Control Room, Compliance Risk Assessment, Business Self Assessment.

? University Degree.

? Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, as well as, a customer focused attitude;
