Sourcing Analyst (EFS)

CITY: Stamford STATE: Connecticut COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
The Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for supporting the EFS Sourcing Leader with facilities and sourcing initiatives and processes. Working closely with the Sourcing Leader, the position's responsibilities will include:
* Primary point of contact for deal related invoice payments
* Driving digitization of current invoice payment, procurement and A/P process
* Serving as EFS super user for procurement systems, including Oracle Purchasing, A/P and RAPID (invoice payment and tracking system)
* Responsible for providing training of purchasing systems and representing EFS on upgrades as they relate to purchasing systems
* Serving as primary point of contact for facilities issues and maintain facilities database
* Managing activities related to office set up/ moves
* Assisting in the implementation of Sourcing Standards and best practices
* Providing support and assessment of compliance with Corporate Sourcing Policies and Procedures* Responsible for the analysis of EFS expenses
* Producing Sourcing expense plans for planning sessions (OP plans, Growth Playbook, SII)
* Providing analytical and negotiation support, including market and financial analysis in support of sourcing opportunities
* Providing oversight of purchase requisition/order process and perform ongoing audits on compliance
* Individual will be expected to actively pursue cost savings in day to day role
* Perform ad hoc analysis as required

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
* 3+ years relevant finance experience
* Strong sourcing knowledge
* Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
* Ability to lead, motivate and influence cross functional teams
* PC spreadsheet proficiency (Excel)

* GE Leadership Program graduate
* Finance General Ledger systems experience

* Basic understanding of finance and business
