Sr. Account Administrator
The incumbent will provide professional support to Clients, Investment Managers and Transfer Agents through timely and accurate processing of trade instructions and related transactions. The transaction types processed include; global and domestic securities, derivatives, foreign exchange transactions, incoming/outgoing wire transfers and transfer of currency between fund accounts. Prepares reporting to Investment managers for cash availability to invest through the review and discrepancies to ensure accurate client statements. Will have responsibility for complex funds and associated Mutual Fund Custody recordkeeping. Will assist Account administrators with complex servicing issues and inquiries to insure timely resolution/reporting. Provides training and direction to Account Administrators. Responsible for the preparation of monthly client activity data as compared to servicing standards. The position is responsible for assisting the Account Service Officer and Account manager in the preparation, review and distribution of Client Management Reports and Client Bills. Required to support the resolution of client related inquiries through effective research and communication to Client, Investment Management and Trading Operations, Fund Administration, Fund Compliance and Transfer Agent representatives.
The Senior Account Administrator works directly in a client services environment. A responsive and cooperative attitude as well as problem recognition and resolution skills and the ability to work as a high quality service team are required.
The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred or comparable work experience. S/He must be familiar with PC spreadsheets, on-line systems, and a working knowledge of security settlement and brokerage practices in both domestic and global markets. Strong customer service and problem solving skills required. S/He should possess strong organizational, analytical and communication skills and be able to work in a team environment. S/He must be able to work under pressure while adhering to strict guidelines/deadlines. This position requires 2-4 years of relevant securities experience or proven competency as an Account Administrator.
