Sr Credit Policy/Risk Analyst

Job Description: Design, develop and implement a wide variety of scoring models to enable and support credit risk strategies / policies formulation of the whole consumer lending product life cycle. Incorporate analytical talent, data-driven and pragmatic research approach to a wide variety of business issues and challenges to provide logical and innovative solutions.



Apply specialized training from advanced and modern statistical methods (Logistic Regression, Linear Regression, Time Series Forecasting, Survival Analysis, Classification & Regression Tree, Boosting, Text Mining, Data Mining, Optimization, and others) as appropriate to customize the solutions to attain specific business objectives

Manage multiple and independent projects with a cohesive / diverse group of highly motivated modelers while functioning in a fast paced environment.



Serve as a statistical/modeling resource or as a project leader with internal and external customers on cross-functional projects. Present actionable recommendations to senior management.

Job Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operation Research, Actuarial, etc.)

Master’s degree or higher preferred

Three or more years of prior experience in modeling

Strong working knowledge of Mainframe, UNIX, SAS, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Recent hands-on experience with designing solutions involving large data sets

Experience with credit bureau data and/or in-depth knowledge of database system are desirable

Passionate and tenacious about problem solving yet able to provide timely, innovative, and practicable solutions

Excellent oral/written communication skills
