Sr. EPU Analyst

Job Responsibilities:


Exception Processing Analysts will employ comprehensive technical knowledge to analyze and improve Trust products, platforms, and practices with a goal of streamlining existing methodology for unique situations or clients which fall outside of conventional process flows.

 

The successful Exception Processing Analyst will utilize a proactive service delivery approach and intelligent data resources, to provide customized solutions to meet the unique needs of each client or service team.  A focus will be to partner with various business partners across the ML Trust organization for accurate and timely processing of all activities (for Personal and Employee Benefit Trust Products).  The Exception Processing Analyst serves as a subject matter expert and will utilize technical and process knowledge to enhance current business practices.  Exception processing will consist of high exposure items for the firm, requiring extensive training and ongoing continuing education to support the appropriate knowledge and skill sets.

 

Analysts must possess both research and technical skill sets to gather pertinent data facts for mitigating risk within the MLTC Service Model.

 

Focus on ensuring compliance to various regulations, while adhering to service standards and increase capacity for internal partners.  This position supports both new account implementation as well as ongoing account services.

 

Work with business partners to identify opportunities for leveraging the firm?s infrastructure, to enhance the overall client service experience and realize processing efficiencies

Support exception processes (outside normal scope of business) and reduce re-work

Evaluate the operational impact of new business initiatives and advise management on best practices

Compile and analyze metrics

Complete ad-hoc requests

Train staff across the organization on enhanced service methods???Qualifications:


Self-motivated individuals

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

Strong time management and multitasking skills required

Understanding of ML firmwide systems 

Proficiency in MS Excel and Access

4-5 years financial services experience preferred

Midas experience preferred

Trust experience a plus
