Sr Financial Analyst - Corporate Development

Job Description:


Works closely with senior team of Research & Analysis group preparing materials for the Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Steering Committee. Develops and maintains spreadsheets, statistical models, and databases for financial analysis. Prepares profitability and valuation analysis regarding new projects, including but not limited to products, customer, and business segments. Prepares multiple scenarios regarding the impact of new initiatives and potential acquisitions on shareholder value by utilizing various valuation techniques and incorporating internal and external assumptions, including competitive landscape, market factors, peer analysis, and financial modeling. Identifies major business risks and relevant metrics to measure success.  Previous experience or exposure to investment banking, equity research, consulting, and/or corporate development in financial services is considered a plus.

Job Requirements:


Minimum Skills & Requirements:  Under limited direction, performs complex financial modeling, analysis and related research assignments requiring sophisticated technical and analytical skills. Proficient knowledge of corporate finance, financial analysis principles (NPV, IRR, DCF, etc.), valuation methodologies, policies, and procedures. Good presentation skills and advanced competency in Excel and PowerPoint. Strong project management, analytical, interpersonal, PC and written/verbal communication skills.

Education: Bachelor's degree and/or MBA
