Sr Pricing Specialist

Senior specialist position in unit. Performs the necessary due diligence to ensure all pricing sources are reviewed, analyzed and compared/contrasted before relevant information is released to the Supervisor, Fund Accounting and the client. Supports and assists supervisors with special projects and fielding questions and requests from Fund Accounting, auditors and the client. Reviews specialist work/output to ensure the necessary due diligence is performed.

? May provide timely market value calculations to Accounting group ensuring NAV/YIELD/NASDAQ accuracy
? Performs in depth research and analytics on security price movements and fluctuations in foreign currency outside established tolerance levels. Research includes, but is not limited to, analyzing index movements, accessing relevant news items that may pertain to a specific market, region, sector and/or issuer, and/or contacting the broker/dealer community and or client for additional insight.
? May run less complicated client models.
? Maintains pricing databases and spreadsheets. Cross references securities between systems
? Conduct validation of manual entries and market data research to avoid errors.
? Ensures data quality. Conducts follow up research.
? Supports staff in providing information to clients and assists with resolution as needed.
? Provides pricing support to client groups, including responding to inquiries, and conducting specialized pricing research and analysis.
? Assists supervisor with special projects as needed.

Experience:
? Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree with a business related coursework. B.S. in Accounting preferred
? Minimum 1 year of related experience in fund accounting, and/or corporate actions or pricing
? Knowledge of securities markets, language and products as well as legal and regulatory requirements
? Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, and spreadsheet proficiency.
? Strong analytical and organizational skills
? Ability to prioritize assignments under tight deadlines
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both verbal and written forms.
? Ability to provide technical expertise to resolve daily problems
