Sr. Product Manager – Online Security & Payments

Pay By Touch has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and on CNN as one of the pioneers in the fast emerging Biometrics Technologies, where fingerprints may replace money, passwords and keys. Pay By Touch is leading the introduction of payment systems using fingerprint biometrics in retails stores. Today, over 1,500 grocery stores, convenience stores, liquor stores and banks are using Pay by Touch services.

 

We are growing fast and we have an immediate need for a Senior Product Manager to develop ongoing requirements for our Online product, which includes detailed requirements definitions, derived from marketing and technical assessments. You will be working with teams within Product, Operations, Engineering, Marketing and be responsible for driving dialogs with all stakeholders to ensure that the product definitions are understood by all parties and evolved as necessary. Risk mitigation is a central activity.

 

Additionally you will be responsible for keeping abreast of internet authentication and payment trends and ensuring that the Pay By Touch Online product is keeping pace. 

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

 

10+ years experience in Product Management, ideally in an internet authentication or payments environment.

 

Strong levels of experience in the following:

Internet security concepts (PKI, encryption, identity management)

Internet protocols and standards

Web components (portals, web servers, browsers, plug-ins etc.)

Web design concepts (for prototyping of interactions)

PC hardware concepts (e.g. TPM, BIOS, USB, BlueTooth, RFID)

 

Direct experience with hardware manufacturers and industrial designers, a plus.

 

Strong documentation and presentation skills are mandatory

 

A programming background is considered very helpful in order to assist in the requirements detailing.

 

Knowledge of the biometrics industry is a plus.

 

Ability to work independently with demonstrated initiative-taking is important.
