The Securities Lending Operations Support team is located in the Tampa Regional Service Center and is part of the Custody Operations Unit of Global Transaction Services. It acts as agent for Citibank NA’s institutional clients, lends securities held in custody. Within that unit will be housed the Global Collateral Management Services department (GCMS) utilizing the Common Collateral Management Platform (CCMP). This service presently exists in Europe, and the functionality will be brought into North America so that the business can take advantage of that untapped market. GTS Custody operations intend to bring the efficiencies of the collateral monitoring system into the custody system set.

 

Key responsibilities consists of managing the operational workflows and controls around the following GCMS disciplines:Set up agreements in CCMPAgree deal confirmations and set up new transaction details in CCMPMonitor settlement of collateral in CCMPMark to Market collateral positions and produce collateral valuation reports against contractually-agreed Securities ScheduleManage Collateral excess/shortfall scenarios; initiate margin callsInitiate and control collateral substitutions and returnsFinalize billing details for onward processing 

2+ years of general Securities operations and Custody system set experienceSettlement,Tri-party, or comparable large dollar exposure/risk management experience Moderate to advanced Microsoft Excel experienceStrong interpersonal, analytical, and problem solving skills, with mathematical aptitudeAbility to manage multiple tasks in a deadline sensitive environmentMust be able to adapt in a fast paced environment Multi-taker and assertive with high energyMust be able to take direction with reasonable guidance, work independently and as part of a team, be detail oriented with a focus on organization and accuracy, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and complete and or ensure that your individual responsibilities are achieved accurately and timely.
