Structured Finance Associate
EmphaSys Technologies, Inc. (ETI), a 17 year old boutique firm that specializes in bond administration of mortgage and asset backed securities, is looking for a Structured Finance Associate. This person will develop cash flow models of mortgage and asset-backed securities transactions based on information set forth in Prospectuses and Pooling and Servicing Agreements. Transactions are comprised of residential mortgages ? prime, ALT-A, home equity, and sub prime mortgages ? and commercial mortgages. The models incorporate the characteristics of the underlying mortgage loans and the provisions for the bond waterfall rules, including step downs, trigger events, and allocations of losses. In addition, the associate will structure the tax aspects of each transaction.
The associate will work with servicers, issuers, Wall Street underwriters, accountants, and attorneys on various aspects of the transactions. The associate will be exposed to a wide range of transactions, and will have the opportunity to work closely with clients and develop new business services. There will also be opportunities for the marketing of our services and helping with general company administration.

Essential Requirements:
? Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

? Proficiency with Excel
? Experience with relational databases and computer programming helpful, but not required
