Tax Specialist

Job Duties: The tax specialist will report to the Tax Consultant and will be responsible for the following : Preparing and analyzing

information necessary to calculate tax depreciation for federal return purposes and estimated tax payments purposes; Prepare federal

and state tax returns; Compile and analyze data from business units to accurately complete assigned federal and state returns including

FAS 109; Review tax packages and identify and research tax issues and filing questions; Assist with tax department software (Corptax)

including uploading and tieing out financial data used in all aspects of the tax compliance processes; Maintain the notice and check

request databases; Assist with federal and state tax audits Candidate Requirements: Candidate should have an undergraduate degree

in accounting and 3+ years of solid corporate federal and state income tax experience including the area of tax depreciation. The

candidate must also have a solid understanding of accounting and proficient in spreadsheets. Experience with Corptax and Oracle Fixed

Assets is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Access is a plus, but not required. In addition the candidate must have strong written and

verbal communication skills
