Trading/Hedging Analyst

 

  Job Summary:

This position will serve as the Assistant to the Agency/Pass Thru Trader.  He/She will be accountable for all work associated with supporting MBS trades, Best Execution analysis and assignment, and Investor contract maintenance.  This position enhances the Trading Desk?s daily process by providing support and organization of over $1 billion worth of monthly loan allocations.

 

 Duties & Responsibilities:Assist in loan allocation and pipeline managementResponsible for daily reporting on the status of assignment of trade contracts with investorsResearch pricing issues and report on findingsMaintain data in financial models, analytical tools, and trade desk reportsMonitor market trends and analyze economic/financial dataAssist in settlement process of MBS securities (e.g. Assignment of Trade Contracts, Pool Allocation)

 

Position Specifications/Requirements:This position requires strong analytical and communication skills.  Working experience with general Microsoft applications, including Excel and Access, is required.  Bachelor?s degree required.Must be a team player and work well with others in a fast pace environment while paying strict attention to detailCandidate must possess basic working knowledge of Excel and Access
