Trainer - Financial Services - Banking

This is a temp-to perm position. This is a challenging, hands-on position that entails working closely with IT, training colleagues, and investment banking professionals and support staff.

 

Job Description

Responsible for the following functions:

 

? Conduct group training session in classroom-based setting, as well as via Placeware

? Conduct training in one-on-one situation

? Work in close partnership with product managers and training team to design, develop, and implement end-user training courses and materials

? Conduct training needs analyses and assessments, analyze performance problems, and recommend training solutions

? Develop e-learning modules

? Meet with both professional and support staff to analyze how technology fits into their workflow

? Develop and own maintain training materials

? Log all training records

 

Skills

Required:

? Strong verbal and written communication skills

? Ability to conduct a thorough training needs analysis

? Expert knowledge in two or more of the Microsoft Office Suite applications

? Experience training in a corporate environment using different methods of delivery

? Ability to quickly learn new software, particularly customizations of CRM and Expense Management-related systems

? Understanding of training as a discipline

? Familiarity with Financial products, charts and tables

? Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment

? An approach that is solutions and detail oriented

 

Desired:

? Innovative, creative, and flexible attitude and approach to instructional design and application

? Ability to build credibility with technical clients and present effectively to senior management

? Experience in project management

? Financial services experience a plus

 

Qualifications:

Bachelors? degree or Associates degree with 4 years related experience in a business environment preferably in banking, investment industry.
