Transaction Coordinator

The Mortgage Store, Financial, Inc., a wholesale direct nationwide lender based in a newly revitalized downtown Los Angeles, is seeking a dynamic, energetic Capital Markets Manager to oversee secondary marketing functions to include, but not limited to, investor relations, bulk loan sales and purchasing; loan servicing; loan delivery, and due diligence. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
The aggressive, confident, driven individual chosen for this role will:

? Develop, acquire, compile, and track information related to whole loan transactions, including sales, purchasing, and re-purchasing.

? Resolve Investor requests in connection with each transaction; some items will be satisfied directly, while others will be satisfied via the Loan Delivery or Due Diligence Managers, including documentation deficiencies or other requests.

? Generate trade confirmations and other documentation required to be executed in connection with the transactions.

? Coordinate loan delivery and due diligence with the respective managers of each team for each transaction [while bearing ultimate responsibility for the overall success of these functions in meeting goals].

? Maintain LOS records for trading populations.

? Ensure MERS accuracy through the origination and loan sale process.

? Develop, implement and execute policies and procedures related to loan (purchase and sales) transactions.

? Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in all matters.

? Other duties may be assigned.

? Supervisory Responsibilities: The Capital Markets Manager bears responsibility for supervision of the Loan Delivery and Due Diligence units; the two managers of these units are direct reports. The Capital Markets Manager is expected to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization?s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: interviewing candidates and training employees; planning, assigning and directing workflow; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
 High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus
 BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university with primary course of study in business, finance, economics or related field is preferred.
 Four to six years of related mortgage experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 Two or more years of managing a staff of five or more is preferred.
 Previous experience or exposure to handling whole loan transactions.
 Excellent customer services skills.

 Strong communication and presentation skills.
 Excellent interpersonal skills.
 Excellent organizational skills.
 Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-demand, deadline-driven environment.
