Trasaction Advisor (EFS)

CITY: Stamford STATE: Connecticut COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
This position reports into General Electric's Energy Financial Services (EFS) managing director of deal structuring supporting deal teams on proposed new investments.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Review deal pricing models
* Provide accounting advice to the deal teams on new investments
* Assist in the tax review and structuring of proposed transactions
* Implement match funding on completed transactions* Interact with all levels of the Energy deal team as well as the EFS Finance Organization and Corporate Finance.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Solid financial and accounting background.
* Strong transaction analysis abilities.
* Knowledge of the accounting and tax issues relating to leasing, partnerships and project finance.

Desired:
* Previous manager at Big 4 accounting firm.
* CPA and/or MBA with a concentration in Finance.
* Effective communication skills.
* Working knowledge of authoritative accounting literature (FASB statements, SEC releases, etc.)
* Tax awareness.
* Proficiency in Excel spreadsheet modeling.
* Ability to analyze, evaluate and develop financial deal structures while monitoring external accounting developments that may impact the business a plus.
