Description
Provide Unit Trust branch service support to GWM retail branches ? inquiries focus on cost basis, tax reporting and various client reporting issues. Daily tasks may include cost basis reconciliation and providing clarification of tax reporting information. Provide support for all UIT tax reporting initiatives and examine test results during 1099 preliminary review process. Prepare and distribute routine UIT sales and asset reports. This position requires strong research, analytics, interpersonal and service skills, with an emphasis on problem solving, accountability, and professionalism. Frequent interaction with various areas within Morgan Stanley UIT (sales, operations), GWM Gain/Loss and Client Tax Services support groups, The Bank of NY, Wall Street Concepts, UIT sponsors (e.g., Van Kampen, First Trust and Claymore Securities) and various print vendors.

Skills Required
Candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word/mail merge and Microsoft Excel), highly service-oriented individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, self-starter. Position requirements include answering incoming phone calls and responding to written branch inquiries (e.g., e-mail) and preparing/distributing notification letters to Branch Managers, Financial Advisors and clients.

Bachelor?s Degree, minimum of 4-6 years of financial services experience required, Series 7 License preferred.
