VP-National Accounts

Seeking a National New Accounts Department Manager (VP Level) for The New Accounts Team located in Dallas, TX. 

 

This team is responsible for Account Processing, Document Scanning, Account Servicing, QA and Data Control, Metrics Reporting, Administration and Accounts Surveillance and Fraud in response to the Patriot Act.

 

 The National New Accounts Department Manager will be accountable but not limited to the following duties:

-Daily processing of new account documentation in support of our many account types.

-Monitor overall processing throughput, daily throughput, rejects, Processor efficiency, Processor Quality, hours worked and backlog.

-Monitor the authencity of individuals opening accounts to transact business with the Firm.

-Involve with corresponding with personnel to obtain proper validation of clients identity and as necessary consulting with Legal and Compliance for clarification and resolution on unresolved issues.

-Ensures that new account documentation is complete correctly and accurately.

 

 

Requirements:

-Bachelor?s degree required.  Finance preferred.

-5 years diverse experience in the Account Opening or related processes.

-Knowledge of financial markets and securitized products required.  Series 7 or more advanced NASD registrations preferred.

-Focus on quality control, audit logging, and operation risk analysis.

-Demonstrated capacity to manage others.

-Proven ability to interact across multiple, diverse levels of the business.

-Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

-Have a strong customer focus and be results driven.

-General understanding of current technologies.
